HOW COCHELE IS PRODUCED
Coffee cherry lemonade COCHELE is brewed in Latvia, in the Valmiermuiža Brewery. It’s brewed in a kettle with boiling water in which bags of dried coffee cherries are soaked – just like tea bags in a mug. Coffee cherries are floated till the drink gets its necessary taste intensity. There are no extracts, preservatives, artificial colors, artificial flavours or sweeteners used in the production of the lemonade.
For the drink to keep it’s clear color, precipitates that originate during the boiling process are filtered out both – at the time of boiling and afterwards, when the drink is being cooled. For the lemonade to be more sparkly and refreshing, carbon dioxide is added. Afterwards the lemonade is bottled up and bottles are beautified by labels so you get the lemonade as pretty and tasty as possible.
